Where We've Been

I must admit it's a little strange to sit here and type, as I have been on a nearly 10 month hiatus.  I'm not certain I could even recap all that has happened since last October.  The highlights would surely include a new addition to our family, Legare...
Who now, 9 months later, looks like this...
We welcomed Robert home on Christmas Day.  It was the best Christmas present ever!

And he got to meet Legare for the first time.

We even managed to convince Collin that it was only Christmas Eve, so that Robert could be with us for Christmas morning.
I couldn't have asked for more.

Shortly after we spent time in Charleston with my sister

Then we celebrated Collin's 4th Birthday.  Wow how time flies.
He did have a birthday party, but apparently I have been as good at taking pictures as I have been about blog posting :)
In February Robert and I were able to get away by ourselves.  We had a wonderful vacation in Asheville, sans children.  A stay at the Grove Park Inn, horseback riding, hiking, and a day at the spa made for a great trip.

Legare was baptized in a beautiful service done by my father-in-law in our home church in Jacksonville.  Our minister was gracious enough to share the altar for our special occassion.
It was perfect!

And everyone was there!

In May Collin was the ring bearer in the wedding of a dear family friend of ours.
He was by far, the most handsome guy there :)

Just as we wrapped up the wedding festivities we got news that the twins had arrived.  Yes, my sister-in-law and brother-in-law welcomed twins, Emerson and George.

The summer has brought time with family, vacations

and a 90th birthday celebration for my grandmother.

That brings us to the present with a promise to write more often, if not for you, for me.
